Roman Republic

Respon to one of the following:
1) Describe the differences between plebians and patricians in the Roman Republic.
2) Why was it important for Rome's laws to be written down?

1) The patritions rule over the Pleiblians.
2) So that the Patritions couldn't just made up the laws as they went

The plebeans were the only ones that could be in the Tribunes. Both partitians and plebeians could be a senitor. Partritions had more votes then Plebeians.

1Plebians where men who farmed, made things for a living, and traded. Patricians were members of Rome's noble families. They owneed very big farms and had the plebeians work the land for them.2It was important for Rome laws to be written down so people couldn't be charged for anything the person wants to charge them for.
